Underrated South America Restaurants

Jiquitaia is a Sao Paulo treasure that proves just because a place is simple doesn’t mean it isn’t stunningly good. This is a restaurant that has earned a remarkable reputation for being a simple place in appearance and setting that delivers truly elaborate and incredible Brazilian dishes all at a very affordable price that doesn’t break the budget. A particular favorite of locals as well as travelers in the know is the seafood moqueca. This is a delicious Brazilian fish stew made in coconut milk that is inspired from the Bahia region.

The friendly named restaurant “Neighborhood” is a surprising find in Hong Kong: a casual style French restaurant offering a simply but incredible menu of 20 favorite dishes from fricassee to morel mushroom infused main soups and dishes. Fantastic find.
